It is undeniable, unless you are allergic to it, that peanut butter and jelly is one of the best, most comforting sandwiches. Just about everyone has a fond childhood memory of eating freshly made peanut butter & jelly after a hard day of playing outside, or falling down and scraping their elbow. It was the best "pick me up" back then, and it still is. Also, everyone knows that all college students have to dine on a budget; therefore, this meal is ideal for the poor-as-hell college kid.

There are endless ingredient possibilities within the PB&J; everyone customizes it in their own special way. Adding toppings such as bananas, cookies, and other sweets make it a new experience with every bite.

However, if being creative with food is not your strong point, then the internet is raging with dozens of recipes that might butter your bread. Recipes are usually simple to make and don't call for many ingredients or effort. As long as you have the essentials-peanut butter, jelly, bread and some milk-the possibilities are limitless.

Here is a sample recipe to get you started on your quest to PB&J victory:

Fried peanut butter, pickle, marshmallow and jelly is easy to make and calls for bread, your favorite brands of peanut butter and jelly, a pickle, marshmallows, some butter, and a frying pan. You make this sandwich just like a grilled cheese. Put peanut butter on one slice of bread; then cut a dill pickle down the middle, placing it on the bread. Add a heap of marshmallows and put jelly on the other bread slice.

Next, butter your pan and fry until your sandwich is golden brown. You can add more ingredients like chocolate bars to make your PB&J meal extra-spectacular.
