He must be able to bend space/time, because he’s coming to campus for a public reading Wednesday night, March 5, at 6 in St. Cajetan’s, then delivering a craft lecture on Thursday night, March 6, at ??? and then wrapping his visit up by playing man of honor at the Copper Nickel release party Friday, March 7, at Matter Studios (2132 Market Street).
Speaking of The Sugar Babies...
If you’re unable to catch Amy Serranto at Thursday night’s screening of The Sugar Babies (5 Cool Things #5), make sure you catch her earlier that day, March 6, as she delivers this year’s Women’s History Month Keynote address: “Women’s Leadership in Times of Hope, Courage, and Justice.” Serrano will draw from her work as a poet, cinematographer, producer, and filmmaker as well as her lifelong passion for human rights. Talk is free and open to the public; begins at 1 p.m. in St. Cajetans on the Auraria campus.
