A new research project is aimed at helping communities live healthier.

Kevin Krizek, UC-Denver associate professor of planning and director of the doctoral program at the College of Architecture and Planning, is researching community planning that allows for people to live healthier lifestyles.

The smell of kettle corn and cigarette smoke filled the air of City Park on a cloudy June Sunday. Hundreds of Denver park-goers were socializing in the western side of the park, gathering near the west stage to enjoy jazz music in City Park.It seemed that most of the attendees of City Park Jazz were not enthralled by the music.
