While everyone is busy hitting the gym—attempting to accomplish their New Year resolutions—you know better than to waste your time and money with silly things like fitness and silly diet trends! That’s why over the break you directed your friends and family from out of town to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.

Although RMCF stores are all part of an international chain, their confectioneries somehow manage to taste better here in Colorado than anywhere else. With a large selection of dipped fruits, boxed chocolates, truffles, and fudges the two tiny stores located on the 16th street mall manage to pack enough diabetes infused goodness to kill half the UCD population.

As the largest retail candy store in the US it’s cool knowing that a store in Durango is what started it all. And although it can be pricey it has been voted best tasting chocolate by Money magazine, and with Valentines Day not too far away we must remember that money when you are trying to impress loved ones!

There are two convenient locations in downtown Denver. One is on Writers Square one block away from the Business School on Larimer Street. The other is at the Pavilions on the other side of the mall. With both of them similarly sized and stocked they both make a quick and impromptu friendly stop to any date when you are trying to impress the ladies.
