Best Worst Movie

Showcasing the effect of the modern day cult classic Troll 2, Best Worst Movie brings hilarity to what is considered by some as the greatest terrible film of all time. 

Most of Best Worst follows Troll 2 actor George Hardy, who played Michael Waits, the father of the troll-targeted family in Troll 2. The film follows Hardy as he learns about the Troll subculture he unknowingly is a part of. 

The documentary gives the viewer a chance to explore this culture as well, with the same fresh eyes that George does. Watching as George begins to revel in his minor fame adds lightheartedness while simultaneously generating a nervous feeling. Like the one you get when watching your dad embarrass himself without him knowing it.

If there is any part that can be described as falling short, it’s the interview with actress Margot Prey, who played Diana Waits. She comes off as such a strange, interesting, and possibly crazy person that you want to see more of her.
