With a huge crocodile hanging from the ceiling, Croc’s Bar & Grill is the place to go for an adventurous date. Grab the person you love to be with and go check out what Croc’s has to offer. It is more than just the scenery that is worth your time.

You can have the best of both worlds on weekends starting off with the normal dinner and dessert date. Then as the night moves forward, Croc’s turns into a club-like atmosphere. Some tables are moved out of the way so there is just enough room to get down and dance the night away.

Your weekend nights will consist of rubbing shoulders and being tight as Jell-o. Fun, right? As long as you are with a special someone who you don’t mind being rubbed against, you shouldn’t have a problem. There is a DJ, dancing, and drinks. Sounds similar to other bars, but the atmosphere and energy here is much more lively.

The restaurant is long and rectangular in shape with a front, center, and rear section. The whole place is great for open space for groups of people. The crocodile hangs in the center of the 16-foot ceiling wearing a football helmet. It is a musically fun atmosphere, but can also be considered a sports bar.

There are many specials that go on throughout the week. The best is on Mondays where they have 50 percent off any entrée if you purchase a drink. No, not just an alcoholic drink—any drink. With this deal going on, Monday is one of the busier days but definitely worth the crowd.

Another great special is on Wednesdays. There are $1 beef tacos and $2 margaritas. So, if you and your date are of age, then Wednesdays are no doubt the day for you. There are also around 20 beers on tap.

A few local favorites are the guacamole cream enchiladas and the fajitas. Looking to get a little spicy and hot on your date? The fajitas come out crackling and sizzling with steam on an iron plate and are portioned to share.

On weekends—when you are able to get your groove on—Croc’s is open from 11 a.m.–2 a.m. On the other hand, during the week, it is much more calm. It is a busy place, but only open until 10 p.m. during the week.

Love sports? You and your date won’t have a bad seat in the house. There are 15 televisions and one huge projection to watch your favorite sports. There is even a package deal for NFL Sundays. Who better to cheer on your favorite sports team than with that special someone? Guys, give her your favorite jersey to wear. We all know guys like it when girls wear their clothes.
