Anyone from Los Angeles loves Denver’s weather and low crime rate, but there are a few things that they probably miss. Chief among them are Disneyland, In-N-Out Burger, and, of course, the heaven on earth known as Trader Joe’s.
Earlier this year, Trader Joe’s announced that it would be opening a store in Boulder, only to discover later that the Applebee’s currently taking its place wanted to maintain its lease a little bit longer. This meant that all of us who have been waiting patiently for years have to wait a bit longer. But that’s alright, because the joys of Joe’s are just around the corner.
To people unfamiliar with the place, it’s a grocery store, but it’s unlike any grocery store you’ve ever been in before, ever. Everything there is incredibly fresh and wholesome, usually with just a few ingredients. Their produce is the crème de la crème, their candy aisle a haven of quality and variety, and their food is just great.
Everything in the store has Trader Joes’ label on it, since they package all of their own food, masking the branding of other products. This is done to unify the store and improve the shopper’s experience. What you see is what you get. But, because it’s Trader Joe’s, you know that what you get is of the utmost quality and taste.
Trader Joe’s is like your grandma—whatever she gives you, you’ll eat, because you know that it will not only be tasty and wholesome, but that it comes with a side of love and care.
