Baffled by the writing assignment for your 11 a.m. class, or do you need help polishing your thesis paper? The Writing Center is the place to go.
The Writing Center aims to help students at UC Denver improve their writing skills through in-person one-on-one sessions, online consultations, and workshops. They work with both undergrads and graduate students on just about any type of writing project and they can help you at any point during the writing process from generating ideas to proofreading.
The Writing Center also offers free workshops covering subjects like generating a thesis, correct documentation, and effective revision. Students can find a complete list of workshops and register on the website
Another way students can take advantage of the Writing Center is by booking an online consultation which uses a system that easily allows students to share files and discuss their projects using instant messaging or audio chat. Students can make an appointment any night of the week.
