You have probably seen the colorful banners on CU Denver’s buildings telling you that there is “a new way to think about college.” They’re part of a new creative advertising campaign called Think Tank, which encourages perspective students of all backgrounds to choose our university.
The campaign is targeting high school students, military veterans, and anyone continuing his or her education. The focus is placed on diversity and a lively urban experience.
Every year, UCD sees a diverse group of students enrolling for different reasons. Think Tank aspires to demonstrate and highlight all these reasons, experiences, and outlooks.
A new website, CUDenverThinkTank.com, was launched specifically for this campaign featuring approximately 100 students and faculty who were filmed in early February answering questions regarding their experiences at the university.
This process collected real people’s insights into educational methods, campus life, urban settings, and all the great things that come with it. It also clearly demonstrates the diversity of the campus and its ability to fulfill any professional goals. This highly interactive website is now a complete guide to students’ years at the university, full of insights and ideas.
The website features tons of information related to the university, including the admission process, housing, open house opportunities, cool videos, and even a virtual tour. There is also a real-time Twitter feed, Tweet Tank, where anyone can share thoughts about the campus and the university.
Additionally, the campaign spreads the word about UCD via commercials on various radio stations. Think Tank promises to be the biggest, brightest promotional effort for the campus.
