Before listening to Extended Play E.P. Illegal Art ReMixTape, be prepared to step into the mind of the delightful absurdly absurd turd brain of Denver comedian T.J. Miller.

Illegal Art ReMixTape is a remix of Miller’s 2011 preposterously elaborate ear fuck Extended Play E.P. which is of course an LP. The names of these albums encapsulate Miller’s brand of humor that is sprinkled throughout like a massive collection of verbal farts: sporadic, feel-good, funny, raunchy, and a cue that some shit is coming soon.

“Partying with T.J. (Now We’re Partying Remix)” is full of humorous in-your-face blurbs of who T.J. the so-called musician is: “I’m a weird dude, I like weird shit.” This track also kicks off the tone that this album is more than just a joke, but a statement about celebrity dumbasses that think that if they are good at being a celebrity, they are good at everything else.

“Make Me Sad (Make Me Laugh/Sad Raps Remix)” sounds like an old school rap with a modern beat, and is full of Miller’s lack of participation. And like in much—or actually all—of Illegal Art ReMixTape, Miller hides behind the curtain in the wake of capable musicians that make his farts sing.

Illegal Art ReMixTape ends with an epic 20+ minute remix “The Waiter Scene (Takes 1-4 Rough Mix),” which really makes this hot air album float, and makes a BBC Session jam seem like a sound bite.

Illegal Art ReMixTape may sound like Miller went back in time to sixth grade to record some shit with musicians, but his ambiguously dumb childishness will infect the listener with ADD.
