Venue Most Likely To See A Person Kicked Out Of

The Gothic

The Gothic Theatre is known for hosting mostly heavy—and even heavier—metal shows with multiple bands in a lineup. This combined with alcohol creates a higher likelihood that an unruly patron stirs up too much of a ruckus.

Plus, there is always that one douchebag at a heavy metal show that is a little too aggressive and loose-lipped, running around bumping heads with people thinking that he’s improving the excitement of the mosh pit, but is actually just pissing everyone off. Three hours and eight beers into the show he has pissed off one too many people and one too many staff members, who put him in a headlock and escort him out.

To see this douchebag deflated can cause a crowd to clap and laugh at his failed douch baggery, and give the night an added element of enjoyment as he throws a temper tantrum all the way out of the theatre. This occurrence is well worth the money, even if heavy metal isn’t your cup of tea.

At a less aggressive music venue, that one douchebag at the show isn’t doing much more than hitting on your girlfriend, taking one too many hits of the joint being passed around, or just telling everyone he was the first person to start listening to this band. If only this kind of douchebaggery was noticed by staff members, then places like the Ogden Theatre and the Fillmore Auditorium could compete with the Gothic Theatre.
